First Fondant Creation.

This is my first try out with Fondant. This is actually also my first home-made fondant and I used a bowl under it.
I was feeling both sweet and spooky that night which explains the lovely roses and the spooky ghosts (or want to be ghosts).

Week-end cake

My three year old nephew is home with us for a week without his parents and so for a little fun (for me) and a little comfort (for him) I decided on making him a train cake.

The cake (homemade) was a chocolate and a white spongecake convered in chocolate ganache (I know I always use chocolate ganache,but seriously,it's the best tasting one). He and my sisters were ecstatic about it.

Purse Birthday Cake

Esy's birthday cake consisted in a lemon cake with chocolate ganache and those few candys you see to give the final shape and look of a purse.

Because she's leaving and I'm going to miss her.

It's a pity I can't see you before you leave but make sure to give it your all over there,also,have loads of fun,don't get yourself into any trouble and most of all...don't miss me too much.
I love you to bits Oz and when you get out of there I'm coming to see you wether you like it or not.After this,I think the next best thing to say is...

Oh yeah,chocolate cake for Grandpa's birthday.

I'm still alive.

I've "neglected" this blog for sometime and it isn't facebook's fautl. No,it's just because my life is boring right now and I have nothing to post except for my new glasses!

 Baking wise: I made the most delicious chocolate cookies I had ever tasted ( I have witnesses) but unfortunately they were eaten before I could have gotten the camera.

 I'll try to post a little more now that it's summer and I have no school excuses. TTFN.
